Step Two – Working the COSA Second Step

We came to believe. . . means we went through a process of acceptance. We had not encountered that before. In our misery, we may have felt like anyone in the past who appeared interested in helping had always been someone with a hidden agenda. As we practiced willingness to recover, we found our isolation and our insanity already lessening. We began to believe our eyes when we witnessed recovery among our peers, and we gradually made the connection that it was here for us too.
