Jennie K. came to COSA in 2010 after realizing her husband’s sex addiction made her life unmanageable. Bewildered by all the talk of one’s own character defects but seeing that others had serenity and sanity she decided to work the Steps with a sponsor. She began to see that not only had her heart been broken but it had been broken open. Working the Twelve Steps allowed her to see her true self and change her entire outlook on life. Now, with the help of COSA and the grace of her Higher Power, she is facing the most challenging and formidable consequences of her husband’s past acting out behaviors. Jennie will share her story and the strength and hope she has found in COSA.
